My friend Rannie is a photoblogger. He won the 2006 Bloggie for Best Canadian Weblog, and not for the writing, although he's good at that too. He won the award because his photographs speak volumes about life in Toronto and the human condition in general. I have not posed for him yet; half of me is dying to do so, and half of me is terrified, both because I know that he will show me as I truly am.These ten photoblogs all give us truth as they see it. Filters, angles, lenses - they serve to comment on the subject, not distort it.But really, why write about photography? It is its own story.
